Jericho Information Technologies, Inc.
Privacy Policy
Jericho Information Technologies, Inc. ("Jericho," "we," "us," or "our") provides Market Pulse, a competitive intelligence platform for the indirect automotive lending industry. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Market Pulse mobile application (the "App").
The App is a conversational interface. You type questions in a chat window and Jeri, our AI assistant, answers them using Market Pulse market data. The App does not accept file uploads and does not store documents.
Market Pulse is a business-to-business product. Access is provisioned through a subscribing organization, typically a lender or financial institution (a "Customer"). If you are using the App, you are doing so as an authorized user of a Customer that holds a subscription with Jericho.

Provided by you or provisioned by your organization: your name, job title, and work email address; your employer or organization name and assigned permission level; and your authentication credentials and session tokens.
When you use the App, we collect the questions you type and the responses Jeri returns. This is how the App functions, and we want to be direct about it: your chat messages are transmitted off your device, processed, and retained.
Jeri is built to answer questions about aggregate market data. You do not need to provide any consumer's name, address, Social Security number, account number, VIN tied to an individual, or any other personal or nonpublic personal information in order to use the App, and you should not do so. Do not paste applicant data, credit information, or customer records into the chat window.
We collect device identifiers, device model, operating system version, and app version; IP address and approximate location derived from it; log data including sign in times, session length, and features used; and diagnostic and crash data.
We use Google Firebase, a service of Google LLC, for crash reporting. Information collected through Firebase is transmitted to and processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy practices.
The App can read Jeri's responses aloud. This is text to speech output only, performed on your device using the speech synthesis built into your operating system. The App does not record your voice, does not accept voice input, and does not upload audio files. No response text is sent to any third party speech service, and no audio is generated, transmitted, or stored by Jericho.
The App may request permission for push notifications, which are optional and used only for alerts you configure, and for biometric unlock using Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometrics. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to or stored by Jericho.
The App does not request microphone access, camera access, photo library access, precise location, or access to your contacts. If you use the dictation key built into your device's keyboard to enter text, that feature is provided by your device's operating system, not by the App. Any audio processing is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Only the resulting text reaches the App.
We do not collect your consumer credit report, your personal financial account information, your Social Security number, your health information, your contacts, your voice recordings, or your browsing activity outside the App.
To generate responses, the App transmits your chat messages and related context to OpenAI, which processes them through its language models and returns generated text. OpenAI is a subprocessor and is bound by contract with respect to that data.
OpenAI does not use your conversations to train or improve its models. Under our agreement, data submitted through the API is not used for model training.
Jeri produces estimates and summaries derived from market data. Responses may be incomplete or incorrect. The App is a research and analysis tool. It does not make decisions, and its output should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any credit, pricing, underwriting, employment, or business decision without independent verification.
Conversations are associated with your account and your organization. Your organization's activity is not exposed to any other Customer, and Jeri does not use one Customer's conversations to answer another Customer's questions.
Jeri answers questions using Market Pulse data, which is built on state motor vehicle registration data licensed from authorized sources.
Motor vehicle records are regulated in the United States by the Driver's Privacy Protection Act, 18 U.S.C. Sections 2721 through 2725, and by comparable state statutes. Jericho obtains and uses this data under permissible uses recognized by those statutes and under the terms of our data licenses. Each Customer represents that its use of the Service is consistent with an applicable permissible use.
Market Pulse is a market analytics product, not a consumer lookup tool. Jeri returns aggregated market measures such as financed volume, market share, market rank, geographic footprint, and competitor movement by lienholder. He is not designed or permitted to identify, locate, contact, or return records about any individual consumer, and he will not do so if asked.
Jericho appends estimated FICO, payment, APR, and income data to every registration. These are modeled estimates produced for market analysis at an aggregate level. They are not credit reports, they are not consumer reports as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and they may not be used for any purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including determining eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing.
You may not use the App to attempt to identify individual consumers, to re-identify aggregated data, to solicit individual consumers, or to take adverse action against any individual.
We use the information described above to operate, secure, and maintain the App; to authenticate users and enforce permissions set by your organization; to generate responses and maintain your conversation history; to provide customer support; to test accuracy, diagnose defects, and improve the assistant; to produce internal aggregated usage statistics that do not identify any individual user; to detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and misuse; and to comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and the App contains no third party advertising.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as follows.
Jericho maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including encryption in transit using industry standard TLS, encryption at rest, role based access controls and least privilege provisioning, logging and periodic access review, vendor security assessment, and incident response procedures consistent with applicable law.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may retain information longer where required for legal, regulatory, tax, audit, or dispute resolution purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, to opt out of the sale of personal information and targeted advertising (which Jericho does not engage in), to appeal a denial of a request, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Residents of Texas, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have these rights.
To exercise a right, contact us at support@jerichotech.com. We will verify your request, typically by confirming control of the account email address, and respond within the period required by applicable law.
If your account was provisioned by an employer, some requests must be directed to that employer, who controls your access and account configuration.
The App is a business tool intended solely for adults acting in a professional capacity. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, which collect their own information governed by their own privacy policies. Jericho's practices are declared in the Apple Privacy Nutrition Label and the Google Play Data Safety section, and those declarations are maintained consistent with this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date above. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the App, by email, or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect.
